While Finland is well known for its cold climate, it is a land of lush landscapes and the midnight sun. Finland is home to people full of life, who enjoy activities ranging from hiking and skiing to sailing. From the impressive neo-classical architecture of the larger towns to the idyllic smaller hamlets, Finland is a beautiful country to see. It is also a beautiful country to hear. Finnish is a very unique language, both in spoken and written forms. Its closest relative is Hungarian, opening many questions as to its origin. A Finnish family is sure to lead you though all of the intricacies of their language and culture.
