These words summarize the reasons why World Experience Teenage Student Exchange was formed. History has not known a time when individual men and women have sought, in so many ways, to contribute to the establishment of peace among nations. Many now view this as a personal responsibility.
WE is open to all people who share a realization that the path to international understanding is intercultural experiences, people–to–people encounters, and cultural and language studies. The evidence is clear that only as people learn to live together and to respect cultural differences can there be hope for enduring peace in the world. Contribute to peace by planting seeds of understanding with a student from another corner of the world.
Mission Statement:
World Experience strives to strengthen international links of friendship, support and understanding among students, families and communities through a personally guided program of sharing. World Experience believes that the sensitive awareness of cultural differences, developed when students and families live together, results in mutual respect for each other‘s culture.
