History of World Experience:
World Experience (WE) was founded in 1977 by Lee and Bobby Fraker and Marge Archambault. These pioneers envisioned a low-cost, teenage student exchange program built on the quality of its participants and host families. Their overall goal was to develop the young citizens of other countries so that they could return home and use their experiences to benefit their countries.
WE has undergone several changes since 1977. What began as an idea discussed around the kitchen table in the Fraker's home evolved into an organization first based in the Fraker's garage and now headquartered in an office complex in Hacienda Heights.
Through the years, WE has exchanged over 4,000 students throughout the world. Some of our first alumni have become WE representatives or even have sent their own children on a WE program. In the early 90‘s, WE was one of the first exchange organizations to work with students from Eastern Europe. World Experience is now celebrating over 30 years of excellent exchange students and has grown from three original countries to over 30 participating countries.
World Experience is committed to providing the best possible experience to students, host families, schools and coordinators through small, quality programs and personal attention for the next 30 years.
