Rich in architecture, culture and terrain, Ecuador is one of the few countries with regions in both the Southern and Northern hemispheres as it straddles the equator. Ecuador has beautiful coastlines, the Amazon rainforest, the Galapagos Islands and historic towns full of colonial architecture. Ecuador has plenty to offer anyone interested in outdoor activities, including hiking, mountain biking and climbing, scuba diving, whitewater rafting and kayaking as well as whale watching. Ecuador is the perfect country for those wanting to immerse themselves in a culture with distinct food, art and festivals that celebrate the history and culture of these hospitable people.

1 year or 2 semesters of high school level Spanish
School System and Comments:
Most students are placed in a private school and asked to purchase books and a school uniform.
