From the north to the south, and the east to the west, Germany has a varied culture that presents itself through art, music, speech and food. Germany has much to offer in many fields, especially music. Germany’s musical history includes composers such as Beethoven and Bach. The countryside varies from beaches in the north to the Alps in the south. First in the fields of renewable energy and recycling, Germany is friendly to the ecologically minded. A friendly, but independent country, you will be expected to be mature, responsible and outgoing. Feel free to explore beyond Oktoberfest to find the true culture of a proud, independent people and the land they call home.
